PIECES Toolkit in the Spotlight at the 18th Annual Conference on the Science of Dissemination and Implementation in Health, Washington, DC
Dr. Cristina Martinez, from the Institut Català d’Oncologia (ICO), presented a poster showcasing the PIECES equity-focused framework and multilingual Primary Cancer Prevention Implementation Toolkit (PCP-IT), designed to help adapt evidence-based cancer prevention programmes across Europe. The presentation sparked strong interest for its practical, real-world approach and focus on contextual adaptation to strengthen cancer prevention efforts.
The EU-funded PIECES project is currently testing its approach in 8 countries and is beginning to generate its first results.
