After the Third Annual Consortium Meeting in Tirana (Albania), researchers from all countries involved in the PIECES Study stayed an extra day to focus on an important next step: agreeing on how to analyse the project’s qualitative data.
The session was hands-on and collaborative. Researchers received training on the coding process, worked together to finalize a shared codebook, and agreed on an analysis plan for the next phase of the study. This helps ensure that all countries approach the data in the same way.
The PIECES study, which evaluates the performance of the PIECES Toolkit, will continue collecting insights through interviews with coordinators, local teams, and implementers until the end of 2026.
The workshop proved to be a valuable opportunity for collaboration, learning, and alignment—setting a strong foundation for the next steps of the PIECES project.
